I’m Maggie and, like you many of you, I have many job titles.

I am the owner of Beauty By Magdalena, specializing in blondes, a wife, and best of all a mama of two amazing boys.

When I’m not behind the chair you’ll catch me running behind my boys or going to San Jose Sharks games.

I love being a stylist. When I’m behind the chair I feel at home. Being with my guest is like being with family. I love how every guest and guest experience is completely different. I take pride getting to be one on one with my guest and love getting to know everyone individually.

Many clients ask me, “How did you get into hair?” Well, long story short, hair has always been what I took passion in. I have been playing with hair since I was a little girl and now I’m lucky enough to get to do it everyday.

I feel so comfortable behind the chair, it’s where I’m truly in my element. Between lashes and hair, I’m blessed to be doing both. I can’t decide which I love more.

Hair has so much movement and allows for more creativity. I can have so many different options to form a look. Where as with lashes, it’s precise and clean. I can create a certain look. Such polar opposites, yet both let me create beauty.

The saying is true, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Being able to express myself creatively and have fun in my career is the icing to my beauty cake.
